Fees and Funding

Our current fees are as follows: The fees are £5.50 an hour.  Our Early Bird session from 8.45am to 9.00am is £1.50.  Fees are reviewed termly and any changes implemented will be displayed on the noticeboard in the foyer.  Notice will also be sent to parents. *

We also require a £50.00 deposit if your child does not qualify for funded hours or their hours are a combination of funded and non-funded.  In addition, if you change from funded hours to a combination of funded and non-funded hours then a £50.00 deposit will be required at this time.  This is refundable when your child leaves if your account has been settled.

Please note:

  • Fees are invoiced in advance each term.  The fees may be paid in two equal instalments.  Please ensure that the fees are paid within 2 weeks of the start of the term and the half term.  Please do speak to us if you would like to discuss different payment alternatives.
  • You will have the opportunity to amend sessions at the end of each half term.  These cannot be changed after you've signed the declaration, except in exceptional circumstances.
  • If any fee payment is outstanding, this may affect your child’s place at preschool
  • Payment can be made by Childcare Vouchers, cash, cheque (payable to abc preschool) or via the internet (sort code 20-22-67, account number 63549364) – please ensure you quote the invoice number as a reference.
  • We ask for one half term’s notice if you are going to withdraw your child from preschool.  If we do not receive this we will charge a half term’s fee in lieu of notice.
  • We reserve the right to charge a half term’s fee if you do not take up your child’s place

If your child is aged 3 years or over they are therefore eligible for government funding, from the term after their third birthday.  This means they can receive a three hour session five times a week; these sessions can be taken during a morning or afternoon or two on the same day, to a maximum of 15 hours per week, (with any extra sessions paid for), for 38 weeks.  Two year old funding is available, subject to eligibility.   We are an approved provider for the delivery of the Early Education Free Entitlement on behalf of Suffolk County Council.  Please feel free to discuss funding with either the Office Manager, Evonne Bailey or Manager Kirsty Robinson. Further advice can be found by calling the Suffolk Family Information Service on 0345 60 800 33.  Any hours over and above the funded hours will be charged at the standard hourly rate.

In addition to this the government is offering up to a further 15 hours free early education a week over 38 weeks of the year, subject to eligibility.  Find out more and apply through the government’s www.childcarechoices.gov.uk website.  If you are eligible you will get a code (number) which you can then give to us, as your childcare provider.

We are also part of the government’s tax-free childcare scheme.   Details can be found at the government’s www.childcarechoices.gov.uk website.
